Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate bending and forming machines to produce precision sheet metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Maintain equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired results.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on bending equipment.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, specifically in bending and forming.
- Strong understanding of metal properties and bending techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and programming is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
