About the Role:
Join ERGOMET INC PRECISION SHEET METAL MFG CO as an AMADA Press Brake Operator and be a key player in our precision manufacturing team. We are looking for skilled individuals who are passionate about metal forming and want to contribute to high-quality production in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate AMADA RG press brake machinery for bending and forming custom sheet metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine tooling requirements.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary for optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating AMADA press brake or similar machinery.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and forming processes.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical PDF drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and practices at all times.
